Graham Southern is a GANG - nominated composer and sound designer for games, film, television, and advertising. His sound design work for the survival horror game Liquidators was nominated for “Best Sound Design for an Indie Game” at the 2021 Game Audio Network Guild awards. The game has received praise for its uncanny atmosphere and unsettling soundtrack. In addition to games, Graham has composed for a broad range of films, including films such as the psychological thriller Cereal, (dir. Dusan Brown, known for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and The Lion Guard) the horror film Crazy Car (dir. James Osborne), and the Chinese documentary Dai’s Garden (dir. Ruohan Xu). His music has been heard on multiple major networks, including the series The Contender, Paradise Hotel, and Cannonball. Outside of music for media, Graham is a keyboardist and orchestrator the Los Angeles-based metal bands Our Dying World and Awake Through Sleep. His roots in progressive metal often seeps into his game and film music work, making frequent use of odd time signatures, jarring rhythms, and dissonance.
